It was a busy weekend
for our Design Director, Darren Blackwell, as he spent two days at
the Southern Homebuilding and Renovating Show in Sandown Park, Surrey, giving
valuable design and planning advice at the Oakwrights design stand. Darren will
be in touch, very shortly, will all the clients he spoke to during the show to
discuss their projects.

Industry news
The
much anticipated 59 page reform of English National Planning Policy Guidance
was published 27 March 2012 and came into force on 1 April 2012. The National
Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) is a key part of the planned amendments to the
planning system, meant to make the process less complex and more accessible,
allowing the effective protection of the environment and the promotion of
sustainable growth. The NPPF will replace all current Planning Policy Statements (PPS) and Guidance Notes.
We are also happy to
announce we have a new member joining the OV Family! Isabella is
our new office security and we would like to welcome her as an addition to our team.
